Have you recently graduated as an Architectural Assistant Part I and are looking to start work this august in an award-winning Architecture Practice based in London?
EPR Architects are currently looking for several talented graduate Architectural Assistants who would love to join our London Office to join our team working on exciting projects across our teams who design and deliver Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects based in the United Kingdom and other major cities
In our studio, we design buildings as well as build – so you could experience the whole process of designing a building and visiting it through construction. Every new member of our team is paired with a mentor and supported by the wider team.
We welcome applications from Part I Architectural Assistant graduates who are available to interview and start work during August. If you have any experience using Revit this would be considered advantageous, although we do have a BIM support team who will provide training at any level so please do apply if you would like to join our team:
About Us
EPR Architects is an award-winning practice with a well-established reputation for quality architecture, masterplanning and interior design thanks to our extensive experience delivering an array of building typologies across workplace, lifestyle and leisure sectors.
From our central London, Manchester and Wrocław studios, our experienced team of over 260 talented people collaborate to produce vibrant and inventive architecture in response to our client’s unique requirements.
We are committed to the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process, a working method that we believe significantly benefits our clients.
Company Culture
We are proud of the creative, social and passionate community that makes EPR Architects a great place to work; we share design news, hold regular internal presentations, lectures and debates and organise several sporting and social events throughout the year.
The layout of our London studio, which neighbours Tate Britain, follows the buildings Y-shape to create a collaborative and non-heirarchal atmosphere.
We provide our employees with the opportunity to participate in a programme of structured and unstructured CPD. The CPD Group organise an extensive programme of events including lunchtime seminars by members of the RIBA CPD network and professional consultants; peer group project presentations; site visits; and architectural film screenings.
Benefits
We provide a weekly yoga class as part of our commitment to staff welfare and fitness, and organise several sporting events throughout the year, including softball and tennis tournaments, an annual triathlon and regular 7-aside football games against subcontractors and consultants. We strongly support the use of cycling for both commuting and travelling to meetings and offer our staff a cycle-to-work scheme and onsite shower facilities.
We also believe that drawing is still an integral part of architecture and provide regular life drawing classes for all our staff, taught by specialist tutors from the nearby Chelsea College of Art.
The practice pays for our employees professional subscriptions such as ARB, RIBA and other relevant qualifications.
For those studying their Part 3, we contribute to the cost of their fees, plus 10 days paid study leave.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
As proud advocates of equality, diversity and inclusion, we want EPR Architects to be a place where everyone can thrive and everyone feels welcome. Our aspiration is a workforce that reflects the communities we work within at all levels; therefore, we are committed to nurturing a diverse talent pipeline within our studios and the wider construction industry.
EPR’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group aims to empower the widest possible pool of talent to thrive, both within the practice and across the wider construction industry. Spanning an array of disciplines and levels of seniority, the group works closely with our partners at Built By Us — a social enterprise on a mission to grow diversity and inclusion in the built environment sector.
Why Work Here?
As well as weekly meditation, cultural trips, book and cinema clubs and regular socials, we are dedicated to nurturing the best talent and skills by investing in people and the technical resources to support them.
We support and actively encourage our staff to engage in a range of activities outside their project work that benefit the construction industry and the wider community; many of our staff are active members of local amenity groups, awards judging, expert assessors and design review panellists.
Our London Studio also houses our dedicated modelshop, Technical Services Department, the industry’s leading material consultants whom work closely with our designers to source the best material for each project.
