We are Hyphen, a forward-facing architectural practice delivering excellence for clients around the world. Founded in Winchester in 1980, the practice has grown into an international team with offices across Europe, Latin America and Australia, including Winchester, London, Belfast, Dublin, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Mexico City, Santiago and Adelaide.
Hyphen combines the professional standards and global reach of a large practice with the personalised, collaborative approach of a local firm. The team works as one connected studio, sharing specialist expertise across borders to deliver complex projects from concept to completion.
The practice specialises in data centres and technology, retail, logistics, offices and workspace, hospitality, and residential and mixed-use schemes. Recent work includes Rio AI City, the Lotte Gold office redevelopment in Berlin, RH, IWG and CyrusOne. Hyphen featured at 49th in the AJ100 2025 and moved up to 75th place in the WA100 2026.
