Mangera Yvars Architects (MYAA) is an international, award-winning architectural design practice providing architecture, interior, landscape and masterplanning services for clients worldwide. The practice works through offices in London and Barcelona, alongside teams in the Gulf and Asia, across sectors including cultural, education, hospitality, commercial, residential and sports and leisure.
The studio's approach is built around the idea of 'architecture as landscape', addressing how people live and work, the need for better urban space and the move towards more sustainable cities. Its work ranges from individual buildings and urban design through to social and cultural analysis.
Recent and notable projects include a FIFA World Cup stadium, a cultural centre in London, a university in Doha, new city districts in Jeddah and Jazan, rail and infrastructure schemes, seafront masterplans and airports across the MENA region and Asia, as well as cultural cities in China and India.
The practice has been published and exhibited internationally and is actively involved in academia, teaching and lecturing in the UK, US, Spain, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
The practice is internationally minded and engaged well beyond the studio, publishing and exhibiting its work in major galleries and institutions and teaching and lecturing in the UK, US, Spain, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
