Squire & Partners is a London-based architecture and design practice with experience spanning four decades and an international reputation for architecture informed by the history and culture of where it is placed.

Founded in 1976 by Michael Squire as Michael Squire Associates, the practice has grown into a leading design studio known for creative, considered and commercial design and delivery. Its award-winning portfolio for many of the world's leading developers includes masterplans, workspace, retrofit and reuse, and residential work ranging from private and affordable to co-living, build to rent and super prime, alongside hotels, retail, education and public buildings.

The practice's approach responds to the unique heritage and context of each site, considering established street patterns, scale and proportions to create timeless architecture rooted in its location. Embracing both traditional and emerging technologies in craft and construction, Squire & Partners is renowned for delivering a rigorously detailed product, supported by dedicated in-house teams for interior design, model making, computer generated imaging, illustration and graphics.

Squire & Partners owns, designed and manages The Department Store in Brixton, a transformed Edwardian department store that is now the practice's home and a living embodiment of its ethos: creating tangible social value, sensitive to context, that inspires new generations of designers, crafters and makers. The practice is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited and employs a team of more than 200 across architecture, interiors and masterplanning.
