Your successful track record on these architectural projects and ability to problem solve both individually and part of a team makes Gensler a perfect place to cultivate your career.What You Will DoManage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc.Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsResponsible for coordination with Project Leads to directly supervise the teams’ design and technical deliveryWork closely with project management to execute plans for all segments within large and complex projectsAbility to work independently on a wide range of large, complex and/or highly specialized projectsDemonstrates and shares expertise over advanced techniques, concepts, and methods related to technical designWorks on critical projects with firmwide impactPossesses advanced analytical skills in addition to unique aviation knowledge and expertiseCreates networks and may serve as external spokesperson in the aviation practice areaLeads interaction with clientsActs independently and receives oversight from managerial staff in the form of broad objectivesRegularly exercises creativity and makes independent decisionsProvides technical direction to less experienced team membersProvide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challengesMaintain project manual and specificationsConduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction Your QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture10+ years of experience, aviation project experienceLicensed or registered architectMust be passionate about Aviation projectsExperience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office.Working knowledge of local building codes, standards, building construction, and building structuresDemonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. -Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certificationPlease upload your portfolio/work samples along with your resume to be considered. *This is not a remote position.
