Antonio Quesada is an architect and interior design leader who served as Managing Director of Morpheus & Co., the London interior design studio specialising in branded residences, prime residential and hotels.
Originally from Seville, Spain, Antonio studied architecture with a focus on sustainability and construction before moving to the UK in 2013. He built his early career across London studios, including a near five-year period leading the architectural department at Kelly Hoppen Interiors, where he worked on exclusive interior design projects.
At Morpheus & Co. he drove the studio's expansion into new European and Middle Eastern markets and acted as a bridge between the interior designers and architects on each project. In this conversation he discusses how the studio uses artificial intelligence as a tool in early concept design, why he sees AI freeing designers for more creative and editorial work rather than replacing them, and practical advice for architects and designers building their careers.
