Jordan Harris is a technologist with a classical architecture background, working at the intersection of design and digital. At Hale, the London commercial architecture practice, his role spanned Systems Architect, Digital Operations Manager and BIM Manager.
Jordan studied architecture to Part II level, completing an undergraduate degree at the University of East London and a Master of Architecture at the University of Kent. Rather than taking the conventional Part III route, he moved towards technology, building on coding, BIM and data science, including a data science bootcamp and a software programming course.
His work brings together building design, BIM, project management, visualisation and programming. He has built bespoke tools in Python as plugins for Revit, worked across Rhino and Grasshopper for parametric modelling, and used real-time engines such as Unreal Engine for design visualisation. He has a particular interest in inclusivity and accessibility in design, and in emerging technology in the built environment.
