About

Keir Regan-Alexander is an architect and the founder of Arka Works, a London creative consultancy applying generative design and AI tools to the built environment. He describes himself as an AEC domain expert working with one foot in professional practice and one in live software development.

Before founding Arka Works, Keir spent around a decade at Morris+Company in London, latterly as a director, working on offices, large housing schemes, health centres and education buildings. He has also held roles at Feilden Fowles and Allford Hall Monaghan Morris.

Through Arka Works he runs transformation planning and workshops for practices, applied research and development, and UX advisory for software teams, including the carbon-prediction start-up Preoptima. He is co-founder of OmniChat.uk, an enterprise-grade multi-model LLM platform, and founder of Omni Accelerator, a learning platform for teams adopting AI.

In this conversation he sets out a practical, grounded view of how architects can adopt AI well: knowing which tools are genuinely useful, treating design as more than prompting for an image, and preparing the profession to lead the change rather than be subjected to it.
