The Auckland Foil and Expo Centre by Liza Nadeem

Modern urban outdoor space with community gathering, minimalist architecture, green patches, and bird in flight.

Liza Nadeem is currently a Part 1 Architecture student and Architecture, Planning and Landscape Student Representative at Newcastle University. Over the past two years, she has been gaining experience through multiple internships and mentor schemes.

Here is Liza’s final design project in second year for a new Exhibition Centre with a metal workshop in Bishop Auckland on a former carpark.

‘The Auckland Foil and Expo Centre’ brings together the idea palimpsest by using an array of material palette on the facade while creating a journey from outside to inside. The 3D digital model was constructed using Revit and Sketchup.
