On a tightly constrained corner site in Sydney, Retro House answers a growing family's need for more space. The owners had previously lived in the 1950s project home that stood here, and wanted the new house to carry forward that modernist approach to materials and detailing. Their love of modern art and architecture runs through the design, shaping elements throughout the home. Set across two levels and around 220 square metres, the house makes the most of its 379 square metre corner plot while holding a clear modernist character.
