Ravensbourne Students' Union (RaveSU) is the recognised representative body for students at Ravensbourne University London on the Greenwich Peninsula. In its own words it is "for students, by students", and the one stop for clubs and societies, volunteering, campaigns, student democracy and events. At Rave SU, Rave is U.
RaveSU is home to 20+ student-led clubs and societies spanning sports (basketball, football and more), creative pursuits (art, design and photography), technology (coding and innovation) and cultural and heritage groups. They are a way to meet like-minded people, develop new skills, build a CV and make memories.
Through Student Academic and Activities Representatives (StAAR), elected course representatives act as a bridge between students and academic staff: gathering feedback on course content and delivery, attending Student Voice meetings, and working with course leaders to improve the student experience and resolve academic concerns. RaveSU also runs democratic structures including a student parliament and union elections.
RaveSU runs a programme of events through the year, from Welcome Week socials such as pizza, curry and biryani and movie nights, to a Clubs and Societies Fair and ongoing activities across the Greenwich Peninsula campus.
