Jake Rudin is the co-founder of Out of Architecture, a career consulting firm he started with Erin Pellegrino to help people from design and architecture backgrounds find roles that make full use of their training. What began as a passion project has grown into a business that has supported more than 700 clients and several thousand conversations.

In his day job, Jake works at Adidas, leading work across computational design, digital technologies and pattern engineering, where he applies a designer’s approach to footwear innovation, 3D modelling, visualisation and manufacturing. He is a strategic thinker and designer with a decade of experience building things from the ground up, and a strong advocate for using LinkedIn and an open network to find opportunities beyond traditional practice.

Through Out of Architecture, Jake helps designers recognise the transferable value of an architectural education, from managing complexity and uncertainty to making something from nothing and leading people and process, and apply it across fields from technology and product to strategy and beyond.
