Katya Veleva

Katya Veleva is the founder of Blushcloud, a diversity and inclusion consultancy that also provides leadership and career coaching. She began her career in architecture and moved into BIM and digital construction, before focusing on inclusion, equity and diversity work.

Katya works across learning and development, inclusive leadership, change management and employee resource groups, and she is a qualified coach and mentor. She has mentored since 2009, created the Women in BIM mentoring scheme, and mentored through the Stephen Lawrence Trust, now Blueprint for All. She brings the lived experience of being a queer immigrant woman in construction to her work on workplace culture and belonging.
