About

Nirmala Srinivasa is a project manager at Perkins&Will, based in the firm's Dallas studio. An architect by training, she has worked across corporate interiors, aviation, healthcare and education since joining the practice in 2017, and today focuses on managing design and guiding projects from concept through to delivery.

She is a strong advocate for holding the integrity of a design concept while finding the right collaborators and tools to realise it, bringing clients along on the design journey so the process stays genuinely collaborative. On the project discussed in the podcast, that meant pairing with a computational designer to iterate quickly, secure client sign-off, and translate an ambitious feature into something a contractor could build.

On the Architecture Social Podcast, Nirmala joined computational designer Mario Romero to share how a curved feature in a tech campus moved from sketch to a signed-off, buildable reality.
