Harmonia Village in Dover is a new concept in dementia care, built around a social approach that encourages people living with dementia to lead as normal a life as possible in a familiar environment, with 24-hour care on hand.
Hazle McCormack Young remodelled 12 redundant semi-detached houses to provide accommodation for 30 residents. A new hub building holds communal facilities for residents and for use by the local community and volunteers, alongside six-bed respite care accommodation.
