Pav Bharaj is currently a Part II Architectural Assistant. He recently completed his Masters Degree achieving a Distinction at University of Huddersfield.


His Design Thesis project is nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal 2020 and Part II Year 1 project nominated for the RIBA Student Awards 2019 (North East & Yorkshire Region).

A Civic Campus (Narrative of Type-Formation) where information-generation and exchange are open-access is proposed as part of a masterplan for Hull.

This project offers a visionary treatment of the flooding by absorbing the water into productive processes for generating energy and as cooling systems and as a tool to stitch together Hull’s disjointed fabric. This vision also forms innovative types to forge a new urban connectivity and a new way of living with water.
