Set within a 1940s building, this Point Piper apartment was extensively renovated to bring it up to date while keeping the elegance and detail of the original architecture intact. The material palette draws on natural stone, stained oak parquetry floors and inlaid carpets, with linen and velvet chosen for the soft furnishings. The London-based owner wanted the rooms opened up to the views and breezes of Sydney Harbour and the bright Australian light, and the furniture and fittings were selected in a register of pure European luxury. The renovation works across a single level of 187 square metres and completed in 2017.
